Shipping and Return Policy

CURRENCY:

All pricing on Deep Blue Yacht Supply is displayed in USD ($).  For customers using payment methods funded by an international banking institution, we suggest checking with your banking institution for their daily exchange rates to calculate what the total order amount will be in the local currency.

GENERAL SHIPPING POLICY:
Our shipping charges are based on standard UPS, USPS, & DHL shipping rates, which are based on package weight, size, and distance shipped. In addition, each shipping charge may also include a handling charge levied by Deep Blue Yacht Supply All goods are carefully packed and are in excellent condition when shipped; in addition all goods are insured via the shipping company that we utilize for each individual transaction. All shipments are FOB shipping point. Due to PROP65 Legislation, shipments to California may be delayed 1-3 days in shipment.

Deep Blue Yacht Supply offers the following shipping options for our customers:

- United States (continuous 48) – UPS Ground, UPS 3rd Day Select, UPS 2nd day Air, and UPS Next Day Air
- United States (Hawaii & Alaska) – UPS Ground, UPS 2nd day Air, UPS Next Day Air, USPS Express Mail, USPS Priority Mail, & USPS Parcel Post.
- International – DHL International Express, USPS Global Express Guaranteed, USPS Express International, USPS Priority International.

To help keep shipping costs as low as possible for UPS options, we use UPS Hundredweight shipping for orders over 100 lbs for 2nd Day and Next Day shipping, and over 200 lbs for Ground and 3rd Day. This reduced shipping rate is calculated automatically when an order reaches the appropriate weight.

All prices are F.O.B. shipping point, unless otherwise noted. We will ship by the most reasonable means according to size, weight and location, unless given other instructions. All goods are carefully packed and in new condition when shipped. If damage occurs in shipping, claims must be made with the carrier, not Deep Blue Yacht Supply. Shortages and errors must be reported to Deep Blue Yacht Supply within 7 days of receiving order.  

All orders that are currently in stock, and ship out of one of our regional warehouses, will ship the same day the order is placed if ordered by 2pm Eastern Standard Time. 

Duties and Taxes

Deep Blue Yacht Supply currently offers no sales tax in all states excluding Florida. Deep Blue Yacht Supply is required by law to charge sales tax in any state we have a physical location. The sales tax rate for orders shipping to the state of Florida will incur a 7% tax. 


Customs policies vary widely from country to country and you may be subject to import duties and taxes once a shipment reaches your country. Please check with the customs department in your country about its importation policies to avoid unexpected customs fees or duties. Deep Blue Yacht Supply, Inc® is NOT responsible for any sales taxes, customs duties or other taxes charged by your customs department.



PRICE REVISIONS AND MISPRINTS:
All product prices may be revised without prior notice. In the event of an error in pricing, Deep Blue Yacht Supply reserves the right not to sell any item below our cost.



DELIVERY AND LEAD TIME:
Since UPS, USPS, & DHL do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays (even for express shipping), the actual delivery date may differ from the estimated transit time. For example: a Next Day Air order, leaving our warehouse on a Friday for New York, will not arrive until Monday, even though it has a one day transit time. 

Ground shipping:
Orders for items that are in stock are usually shipped within 24 -48 hours, excluding weekends. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out Monday through Friday at around 3:30 pm EST. If an order is placed before 2 PM EST, the order may ship out that same day. 

Express shipping (UPS Next Day, UPS 2nd Day, UPS 3rd Day, DHL International):
These orders are given top priority. Express orders for items that are in stock are usually shipped within 24 hours, excluding weekends. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out Monday through Friday at around 3:30 PM EST. If an express order is placed before 3 PM EST, it will usually ship out that same day.  USPS Priority Mail services are not a guaranteed delivery.  USPS only averages the number of days in transit.  i.e. A shipment that goes USPS Priority Mail 2-Day can take anywhere from 1-3 days or more to be delivered.  Same day shipping on USPS options are not guaranteed and are dependant on the time of day USPS completes our daily pickup.

Customer Pick-up Option:

Customer pick-up is an option for residents within the State of Florida.  Please note not all items are stocked in our Florida warehouses and a parts pick-up may not be available until 2-3 days after placement of order.  You will receive an email notification with pick-up instructions, once the order is available for pick-up.  WE DO NOT OFFER SAME DAY PICK-UP.Please allow a minimum of 24-hours from placement of order, until your order is processed and available for pick-up.



BACKORDERS:
Shipping time on backordered items varies. You will be contacted via phone or email if you order a backordered item. At this point you can either choose to wait for the item, or remove it from your order. If you choose to wait, the backordered item will ship out to you automatically just as soon as we get it back in stock. Due to availability and vendor issues, we can only provide an estimate as to when this will occur. 

Payments for backordered items are made up front as part of the original order. This helps to keep shipping costs down, as it would be more expensive to charge for two separate shipments. If you choose to remove the backordered item from your order, a refund will be issued that is consistent with the original method of payment.



ONLINE PRICE GUARANTEE:
Guarantee valid on retail price of item only, not on shipping and/or handling charges. Guarantee not valid on competitor close-outs, misprints, special buys, special promotions, liquidations, auction websites, items that include free shipping, member club pricing, or back ordered purchases. Item must be identical make and model#. Truck ship bill of lading and online confirmation emails are not accepted in place of invoice or packing slip. Electronics, Flanged Bearings, Stave Bearings, & Custom Propellers are not available for the Low Price Guarantee. Deep Blue Yacht Supply reserves the right to limit quantity and amount of any discounts or low price match guarantees. The price comparison subject must be on-line from a nationally known marine retailer.

Return Policy


GENERAL RETURN POLICY:
The Sales Manager must authorize all returns or exchanges. Email returns@Deep Blue Yacht Supply or call 1-800-454-6960.

All items returned require prior authorization, and must be in original packaging, packed in the same manner as you received it and in new condition with a copy of invoice. Items that are returned within thirty (30) days of purchase will receive a full refund minus 15% restocking fee.  No refund of shipping charges on returned items. No item will be accepted for return after 30 days. Items that must be made or custom modified, including boat shafts, inboard propellers and modified propellers, etc.. are not returnable. SPECIAL NOTE: Inboard Propellers are not returnable as they are stocked in a factory pilot bore and are machined to your boats shaft size. It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate propeller bore dimensions. Inboard Propellers are purchased at the risk of the consumer and as such are advised to make sure the size and dimensions are correct for their boats requirements.

Propeller Pullers are not returnable unless exchanged for another size.

Deep Blue Yacht Supply along with Michigan Wheel Corporation and Solas Science & Engineering Co., Ltd. does not take part in an outboard exchange policy. Once an Outboard Propeller is used in the water, the propeller is no longer returnable for credit or exchange, unless the propeller was incorrectly sized by Deep Blue Yacht Supply, Inc representative based on accurate information in regards to engine and boat use.

Stainless Shafts are cut and machined to order, as such, once a shaft is manufactured, we do not allow any returns and/or exchange.  Please double check all measurements prior to submitting an order.

The original manufacturer warrants defective products. Deep Blue Yacht Supply does not imply or express any guarantee an/or warranty other than provided by the manufacturer. 

All claims for credit, shortages and/or damages must be placed within ten days of receipt of merchandise.  In the event of mispackaging of products or shortages in shipping, Deep Blue Yacht Supply, Inc will correct the shipment in a timely manner and pay all shipping costs associated with making corrections to shipments as needed.  Deep Blue Yacht Supply, Inc is not responsible for any lay days that could occur in the event of mispackaging.

All returned merchandise is subject to a minimum restocking fee of 15%. 

All returned merchandise must be received by Deep Blue Yacht Supply within 60 days of purchase. Otherwise a transaction fee charge of 3% is administered, in addition to any other re-stocking fee charges that may apply.



CUSTOMER RETURNS:
The shipping cost of any returns or exchanges remain the responsibility of the customer, unless the merchandise is being returned because the order was incorrectly filled by Deep Blue Yacht Supply or the merchandise is defective. Our Propeller Guides are informational only.  It is the responible of the buyer to confirm the correct propeller choice with existing propeller specifications.


All returns must accompany the RGA# given by sales manager. Any returns sent without an RGA# will be sent back at the customer's expense.



REFUND FOR CREDIT OR EXCHANGE:
Any refund or credit for exchange will be based on the value of the merchandise at the time of purchase. Shipping and Handling fees are not subject to refund unless the merchandise is defective or we shipped an incorrect item. 

The internal paperwork for credit/exchange is normally completed within 5 to 7 business days of receipt of merchandise.

All refunds are applied to the individual customer account unless otherwise specified by Sales Manager or Accounting Department. 

Any form of reimbursement is consistent with the original method of payment. 

For Solas Propeller purchases, Solas states that all warranty claims must be shipped back to distributor and will be inspected by Solas in Tampa FL for inspection. Solas will not pay for any shipping in a warranty claim. Solas will only cover the propeller due to manufactures defect for a period of 1 year.

Cost of outbound shipping will be deducted from the credit if a shipping promotion was used at time of purchase.
