Shipping Policy
GENERAL SHIPPING POLICY:
Our shipping charges are based on standard UPS shipping rates, which are based on package weight, size, and distance shipped. In addition, each shipping charge may also include a handling charge levied by Deep Blue Yacht Supply, Inc. All goods are carefully packed and are in excellent condition when shipped, in addition all goods are insured via the shipping company that we utilize for each individual transaction. All shipments are FOB shipping point.
Deep Blue Yacht Supply offers UPS Ground, 3rd Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air shipping to all of our customers who place orders to be shipped to one of the 48 contiguous United States.
To help keep shipping costs as low as possible, we use UPS Hundredweight shipping for orders over 100 lbs. for 2nd Day and Next Day shipping, and over 200 lbs for Ground and 3rd Day. This reduced shipping rate is calculated automatically when an order reaches the appropriate weight.
Orders to be shipped out of the 48 contiguous United States (i.e. Alaska and Hawaii), and all international shipments are sent by your choice of UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS Next Day Air delivery, or your choice of freight forwarder. These orders are not eligible for UPS Ground or 3rd Day Select shipping .
All prices are F.O.B. Davie, Florida unless otherwise noted. We will ship by the most reasonable means according to size, weight and location., unless given other instructions. All goods are carefully packed and in good condition when shipped. If damage occurs in shipping, claims must be made with the carrier, not Deep Blue Yacht Supply. Shortages and errors must be reported to Deep Blue Yacht Supply within 7 days of receiving order.
PRICE REVISIONS AND MISPRINTS:
All product prices may be revised without prior notice. In the event of an error in pricing, Deep Blue Yacht Supply, Inc. reserves the right not to sell any item below our cost.
DELIVERY AND LEAD TIME:
Since UPS does not ship on Saturdays or Sundays (even for express shipping), the actual delivery date may differ from the estimated transit time. For example: a Next Day Air order, leaving our warehouse on a Friday for New York, will not arrive until Monday, even though it has a one day transit time.
Ground shipping:
Orders for items that are in stock are usually shipped within 24 -48 hours, excluding weekends. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out Monday through Friday at around 3:30 pm EST. If an order is placed before 2 PM EST, the order may ship out that same day.
Express shipping (Next Day, 2nd Day, 3rd Day):
These orders are given top priority. Express orders for items that are in stock are usually shipped within 24 hours, excluding weekends. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out Monday through Friday at around 3:30 PM EST. If an express order is placed before 3 PM EST, it will usually ship out that same day.
BACKORDERS:
Shipping time on backordered items varies. You will be contacted via phone or email if you order a backordered item. At this point you can either choose to wait for the item, or remove it from your order. If you choose to wait, the backordered item will ship out to you automatically just as soon as we get it back in stock. Due to availability and vendor issues, we can only provide an estimate as to when this will occur.
Payments for backordered items are made up front as part of the original order. This helps to keep shipping costs down, as it would be more expensive to charge for two separate shipments. If you choose to remove the backordered item from your order, a refund will be issued that is consistent with the original method of payment.
Return Policy
GENERAL RETURN POLICY:

All items returned require prior authorization
, and must be in original packaging, packed in the same manner as you received it and in new condition with a copy of invoice. Items that are returned within thirty (30) days of purchase will receive a full refund, or exchange. No refund of shipping charges on returned items.
No item will be accepted for return after 30 days.
Items that must be made or custom modified, including boat shafts, inboard propellers and modified propellers, etc.. are not returnable.
SPECIAL NOTE: Inboard Propellers are not returnable as they are stocked in a factory pilot bore and are machined to your boats shaft size. It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate propeller bore demensions. Inboard Propellers are purchased at the risk of the consumer and as such are advised to make sure the size and dimensions are correct for their boats requirements.
The original manufacturer warrants defective products. Deep Blue Yacht Supply does not imply or express any guarantee an/or warranty other than provided by the manufacturer.
All claims for credit, shortages and/or damages must be placed within ten days of receipt of merchandise.
All returned merchandise must be received by Deep Blue Yacht Supply in re-saleable condition, unless the merchandise is found to be defective. Any return that does not meet this criterion is subject to a minimum restocking fee of 15%. Please note our return policy for electronics under the Electonics Warranty Information Section
All returned merchandise must be received by Deep Blue Yacht Supply within 60 days of purchase. Otherwise a transaction fee charge of 3% is administered, in addition to any other re-stocking fee charges that may apply.
CUSTOMER RETURNS:
The shipping cost of any returns or exchanges remain the responsibility of the customer, unless the merchandise is being returned because the order was incorrectly filled by Deep Blue Yacht Supply or the merchandise is defective.

All returns must accompany the RGA# given by sales manager. Any returns sent without an RGA# will be sent back at the customer's expense.
REFUND FOR CREDIT OR EXCHANGE:
Any refund or credit for exchange will be based on the value of the merchandise at the time of purchase. Shipping and Handling fees are not subject to refund unless the merchandise is defective or we shipped an incorrect item.
The internal paperwork for credit/exchange is normally completed within 5 to 7 business days of receipt of merchandise.
All refunds are applied to the individual customer account unless otherwise specified by Sales Manager or Accounting Department.
Any form of reimbursement is consistent with the original method of payment.
Electronics Warranty Information
In House Electronics Service:
Electronics Warranty repairs sent to our service department must include proof of purchase. In warranty service will be performed on a no charge basis, FOB Spring Lake Heights, N.J. Product returned for warranty work and found to perform to manufacturers specs will be charged according to the factory rate, as this is not considered warranty. Out of box failures will be exchange or repaired based on factory policy.
Electronics Returns:
Deep Blue Yacht Supply does not accept returns for electronical equipement (GPS Units, Fish Finders, etc), unless we were negligent in some manner. If that is the case, then the return must follow the guidelines below. Please note, damaged items are noted in the next secion.
Any merchandise authorized for return must be new, complete, and in saleable condition.
A copy of our original invoice must be included.
Prior authorization is required.
All returns are subject to 15% restock charge.
All returns must be shipped prepaid. Exchange merchandise will go forward F.O.B. New Jersey. We will not accept C.O.D.'s for returns
Returns under $50.00 will not be accepted.
Damages to Electronics shipped UPS:
If a parcel arrives in a damaged condition, refuse to accept it. It will be returned to us. We will file a claim and replace it to you. If you discover concealed damage once you have accepted delivery:
Call UPS for an inspection.
Hold on to all original packing, boxing, cartons, etc.
UPS will inform you what to do.
Damages to Electronics shipped in other manner:
Deep Blue Yacht Supply ships all truck shipments (electronics) on an F.O.B. Spring Lake basis. This means it is consigned to you once it leaves our facility. If a package is received in a damaged condition or if there is a shortage:
Note on freight bill.
Call trucking company for an inspection.
File a claim with the carrier for damage. They will handle it directly with you.
Your original Bill of Lading is required in the claim process. It is attached to our invoice.
