A preliminary review indicates that damage to the propeller, propeller shaft and/or lower unit is possible if the Solas Rubex Hub is used in a Michigan Wheel XHS Propeller. The use of a Solas Rubex Hub in a Michigan Wheel XHS Propeller will void any and all warranties associated.
Evinrude Boat Propellers Work with Many Engines Evinrude propellers provide a quality marine propulsion solution appreciated by boating enthusiasts in not just the United States but also Canada and the United Kingdom as well. There is a wide variety of Evinrude props available to suit a variety of boating applications, and each of these props works with a stunning selection of Evinrude engines, giving boaters who choose Evinrude boat propellers a wide range of options. This allows for a large degree of customization without ever leaving the Evinrude line. The Apollo 993023 Evinrude Propeller To take just a single example, the Apollo 993023 Evinrude propeller works with more than a dozen different Evinrude engines. Among these are the 90 horsepower, thru hub exhaust engine and the 90 horsepower V6 Gearcase engine with thru hub exhaust. The Apollo model also coordinates with the 2.6 and 3.6 liter Evinrude engine, as well as 100 horsepower commercial engines featuring a 15-tooth spline. The Vortex 992006 Evinrude Propeller Vortex aluminum propellers produced by Evinrude also work on a large number of different engines. The Vortex 992006, for example, works with all the engines specified for the Apollo 993023, but also works with Evinrude’s 115 horsepower engine with a 15-tooth spline and the 120-140 horsepower engine with the same spline. In addition, the Vortex 992006 works with 140 and 150 horsepower motors produced by Evinrude, including the 150 horsepower commercial motor made by the company. Evinrude propellers provide boating enthusiasts with a large range of alternatives as they consider the best solution to their propulsion needs. Michigan Wheel Apollo Props Apollo props used with outboard motors come in three basic varieties and are known by their series designation of A, B, of C. However, no matter the number of blades and other differing specifications, all Apollo propellers in the XHS line share some basic features that are key to this entire line of high quality outboard propeller. Apollo XHS propellers are manufactured from stainless steel and are highly polished in order to deliver excellent and long-lasting performance. These propellers – available in a wide range of sizes that feature different diameter and pitch — can be used with most outboard motors, but interestingly enough, they are also suitable for use with sterndrive motors. The blade geometry has been designed using advanced CAD (computer aided drafting) principles in order to deliver peak performance. Michigan Wheel Apollo Props are available in three- and four-bladed varieties. Boating enthusiasts should be aware that the four-blade design is recommended for water craft carrying heavy loads and is also an appropriate choice for all kinds of water sports, such as water-skiing, which requires a great deal of rapid acceleration. For very heavy applications, a large diameter propeller is advised, since the greater surface area of the blades is an advantage in this situation. The XHS hub system is particularly useful for some boaters because with this system, Apollo props can be readily interchanged with the Flo-Torq II system from Mercury. Available Sizes Apollo props vary from 12″ to 23″ of pitch depending on the motor installed.
