Very tight tolerances, no chatter at low rpms. Better than the Merc hub without at doubt.

Michigan Wheel Hub

Really quiet, no chatter at low speeds. I used to buy Mercs from the discounters, but the Michigan Wheel hub is superior.

Tolerances much tighter than the competitor, less chatter. I like this insert much better than the competing, more widely available brand.
